Goldsborough Laird. Born October 20, 1838, in Cambridge, Maryland, and killed in battle of the Weldon Railroad August 18, 1864. Adjutant of the Second Volunteer MD Infantry. Signed in light pen on the mount below the image. This was out of the Dr. Goldsborough family album. CDV is 4" x 2. 5" in VG overall condition with trimmed corners, minor losses and very slight
